26th September 1973: Sam leaps into the body of Peter Langley, an FBI agent assigned the task of bringing temperamental witness Dana Barrenger into protective custody. Dana once worked as personal secretary to mobster Nick Kochifos, but when she discovered his illegal smuggling operations, she reported him to the authorities; in order to stop Dana testifying against him, Nick has since employed two hitmen, Andry and Thomas, to murder her. After narrowly avoiding death in a drive-by shooting, Sam takes Dana to the Federal building; when his boss orders that Dana be moved to a safe house in Baltimore, Sam has a better idea, choosing instead to take her to the remote cabin in the woods where he once enjoyed a holiday as a student. As the two of them set off under cover of a laundry van, Sam begins to see through Dana’s abrasive nature, and soon finds himself falling for her charms. However, he is unaware that the two hitmen are not far behind – and that agent Peter Langley is not as clean cut as he seems…
